Resistance Training for All Ages

As we begin in a calendar year, we also begin a new worship series for January: Practicing Resistance. Resistance training is used in physical health to strengthen muscles and build endurance. Such training is critical for overall health, no matter our age. We also need to build our spiritual muscles so that we can live our mission and values, and our spiritual practices and community and congregational resources provide us with all we need to practice resistance right here, right now.
